Presentation Format
The main objective of the symposium is for UMSGreat students and the recipients of UMS internal research grants to present the current progress
of their project including initial results (for new grant) and research output. The presenter will be between 10 - 12 minutes to complete the presentation and there will be question and answer sessions
for about 3 - 5 minutes.
UMSGreat students presentation contents should be in the following order.
1. The title of your UMSGreat project, project number, your name and your supervisor/s name (first slide).
2. Introduction (updated version of the introduction section of your UMSGreat proposal).
3. Related literature review (updated version of the Literature Review section of your UMSGreat proposal).
4. Objective and scope (if there is any) of the project.
5. Whole Methodology of the project.
6. Result that was obtained so far.
7. Future work for completion (for projects that have not been completed yet) with Gantt Chart.
8. List of presentation/paper publication so far if there is any.
9. Proposed content of the paper to be published in the proceedings (indexed in MyCITE). The content will be in following order: Title, Introduction, Methodology,
Results and Discussion, Conclusion.
For UMS internal research grant recipients, it is suggested to present in the following order.
1. The title of your project/grant, project number, your name and the co-researcher/s (first slide).
2. Introduction (updated version of the introduction section of your research proposal).
3. Related literature review (updated version of the Literature Review section of your research proposal).
4. Objective and scope (if there is any) of the project.
5. Whole Methodology of the project.
6. Result that was obtained so far.
7. Future work for completion (for projects that have not been completed yet) with Gantt Chart.
8. List of presentation/paper publication so far if there is any.
